Overview:

Financial Controls Senior Associates are responsible for maintaining the integrity of master data within multiple ERP platforms, managing multiple audit functions including client, internal, financial and J-SOX, as well as the overall control environment of the US Client Accounting Media Bill Pay operations.

 

This role is accountable for the accuracy of key master data elements for media bill pay operations.  Ensuring master data requests are submitted completely and accurately, which includes education of business partners as to the requirements, alignment with commercial finance for critical financial and intercompany report needs and attributes for data analytics and metrics.

 

Additionally, this role is responsible for a risk-based assessed control environment, evaluation of current processes to ensure mitigating and preventative controls are in place and adhered to, coordination of audit requests, review of supporting documentation to align with control tests and responding to inquiries as applicable throughout the various audit processes.

 

As a shared service media bill pay operation for multiple brands within the US, the financial controls team will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining metrics and analytics applicable to their function.

 

 

Core Competencies:

  • Bacheler’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and three years of accounting, finance or auditing experience
  • Prior shared service experience is a plus
  • Advanced computer skills in MS office
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Independent, self-motivated and results-oriented, ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and accruacy
