Carat is looking for a Group Account Director for a 15 month, maternity leave contract to work on a major food and beverage/CPG client. As one of the senior members of this team, you will lead the strategic direction, manage the day to day operations and be the primary client contact for all things media. You will be an expert on the client's business and a leader on the team.
The focus of this role will be on delivering best-in-class media planning product that demonstrates exceptional knowledge of the media environment. Delivering digital leadership, with a passion for media-led innovation and customer insight. You will be proactive and constantly looking to identify business opportunities and solutions, foster results oriented relationships and be able to effectively communicate the agency's vision.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a growing communications planning team – developing their skills, evaluating their performance and managing their growth.
The Group Account Director is expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media space (including digital media) and available media research. A minimum of 10 years of planning experience which include progressive client management experience is key for success in this role.
