With respect to DAN Group’s FY2015 results, revenue grew 16.7% year over year, to $3.4 billion and operating income of $580 million, a year over year increase of over 33%. DAN Group’s organic revenue grew by 9.4%, 2.2x faster than our peer group average of 4.3%, with DAN Americas up 4.9%.
Growth in the Americas was attributed to some key account wins, like Microsoft, Olive Garden, Pfizer PCH, Intel, and Nestle. 34 acquisition deals were signed in 2015, 5 of which were in the Americas region. Acquisition Forbes Consulting in the US has provided digital marketing sciences infill to the Isobar global network brand, Redirect, Navegg, and Pontimobi were acquired in Brasil, one of the faster growing markets in the region, and Grip was acquired in Canada, to help bolster their digital creative capabilities suite. In Q1 2016, we have already closed 3 deals in the Americas - 2 in Mexico and 1 multi-market one, in the US and Canada, with more than 5 currently in play. The global digital revenue footprint for DAN Group is now at 46.5%.
